HONORARY CONDUCTOR OF THE BSOF
Howard Griffiths was appointed Honorary Conductor of the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt in recognition of his great services.
Verein FESTIVAL CLASSICS
After completing the projects featuring all of Mozart's and Saint-Saëns' concertos, Howard Griffiths is planning further recording projects with producer Thomas Pfiffner to promote young soloists. The Zurich-based Festival Classics association will organise the projects and release them in collaboration with various labels. The first project will be recordings of Joseph Haydn's cello, violin and wind concertos. The recordings complement the Haydn piano concertos already released by CPO with the young pianist Mélodie Zhao. For more info go to CD's
